Hawaiian pizza was invented in Canada, not Hawaii. It was created by Sam Panopoulos, a Greek immigrant, in 1962.

Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.

Transfer the dough to a baking sheet. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Add ham, pineapple chunks, and thinly sliced red onion.

Drizzle olive oil over the toppings. Season with salt and black pepper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
